CoQ10 is a naturally occurring substance in our body that is essential for energy production on a cellular level. It also has potent antioxidant properties and cell membrane stabilizing effects that may help improve egg and sperm quality. CoQ10 is recommended for women 35 and older, but a lower dose (100 mg) of CoQ10 may be helpful in supporting egg quality in women under 35. Supplements work best in conjunction with a healthy diet. Consult your physician before beginning any supplement regimen to make sure it is safe and appropriate for you.
